Job Description

Overview

The Customer Service Specialist will be a “go-to” person for ADS CSR’s, Reps, APMs and customers providing assistance and guidance on all order inquiries and sales requests. The individual will also assist in Operational Support from purchasing/receiving to order shipping, dispatching and payroll.  A successful individual will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and efficiency.  This position requires a highly motivated team player with high energy who is willing to go above and beyond while displaying a positive, optimistic and upbeat outlook.

Responsibilities

Customer Service / Inside Sales Responsibilities:

 

  • Answer daily phone calls and emails assisting customers, CSRs, Reps, APMs with inquiries; will gather information and pass on any technical issues to our engineering group
  • Work with CSRs, Reps, APMs, and our internal Sales Engineers to confirm all entered order information is accurate; track down missing order information
  • Work with customers, CSRs, Reps, APMs APMs to confirm pricing, provide updates on order status, and schedule or confirm delivery
  • Will assist in Salesforce requests and lead opportunities

Operational Support Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing/Receiver: Reconcile and confirm receipt of product, match receipts with POs and approve for payment
  • Accounts Payable: review and pay in house bills such as utilities, garbage, water, cleaning services or passes bills to corporate for payment ; Create Expense POs for everything purchased using the P-Card
  • HR Related: Submit all payroll hours for ADS employees and Temp Labor Employees; assist employee hiring through Sterling system setting up drug screening with clinic and background checks; assist in new employee orientation and training; administers benefits/elections changes for all workers; post all ADS companywide notices and reviews with workers
  • Assist in Dispatching when required: Responsible for picking and dispatching orders, which includes all shipping, tracking information and costs
  • Assist in Shipping when required: Prepare UPS, Fed-Ex, and other LTL shipments by creating the BOLs and UPS labels; help coordinate LTL freight

Job Skills:

  This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands
  • Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle.       
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing or proofreading materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Organizational skills and project management experience
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Experience:

  • Customer Service 2+ years
  • 3-5 years related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to sit for long periods of time
  • Infrequent light physical lifting required
