This position is responsible for scheduling ADS pipe plants in designated regions and will also work with international operations on reporting their schedules. Coordinate inventory planning / forecasting as part of the SOP process.  Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing planning and sourcing decisions and will involve significant work within supply planning software and the ERP system (Oracle).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule Pipe plants within the general ADS business framework, priorities.
  • Provide Production reporting. Revise production standards.
  • Prioritize schedule to maximize overall customer service and target inventory levels.
  • Use Supply Planner to see and resolve problems in Unmet Demand and Inventory and Target issues.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and the Tooling Shops maintenance and repair priorities.
  • Provide on-site training and assist with plant audits (Some travel required).
  • Interplant planning and approvals (logistics).
  • Provide backup to monthly SOP procedures.
  • Minimal travel required.

Job Skills:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must demonstrate both written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • ERP systems experience.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Must be willing to make decisions.
  • Work with Linear Programming (LP) Optimization tools is a plus
  • Experience with Advand Planning and decision tools is a plus

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferable in a business or engineering related field.)
  • (APICS) Inventory coursework a plus.

 Preferred Experience:

  • Five years in Manufacturing operations, including scheduling, inventory management or logistics experience.
  • Bi-lingual or advanced proficiency in Spanish and/or French language

Physical Requirements: 

The employee will be typing, answering the phone, and using their hands in other ways throughout the day and must be have full use of their hands.  The employee will be sitting at a desk for an extended period of time.
