The Assembly Worker is responsible for the manufacturing of FLEXSTORM products and will help with whatever is required to assemble and ship the products.  The Assembly Worker is cross trained to complete any task within the plant as needed.  This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.  We are looking to build our team with a highly motivated individual with room for advancement. FLEXSTORM works in a well lit, clean, air conditioned environment in Naperville, IL.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a safe working record and environment
  • Assembly of frames using cordless drills 
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Plant Manager
  • Completing filter assembly by attaching filter bags to frames
  • Follow a production schedule
  • Cutting sheet steel in a sheer and using an iron worker to punch holes and a  brake press to form flanges
  • Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance
  • Cutting various bag patterns off rolls of geotextile fabric for filter bags
  • Maintain and build job skills through company training programs
  • Spot welding stainless steel framing (will be a trained function)
  • Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES

 Educational Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish - English preferred

 Preferred Experience:


  • 3-5 years of Plant experience
  • Capable of running computer programs; ie UPS World Ship, Oracle
